With over 25 years of photographic experience, Mitch Moraski's photographs reflect his passion for the outdoors, a love of social environments, and his philosophy of visual simplicity.

"My work is an expression of what I feel for the subject matter," he says. "I like to think my photos speak for themselves and show what my true loves are in this world."

With a keen eye for composition and a great understanding of light, Mitch's straightforward photojournalistic style captures the moment, revealing the essence of a theme or the spirit of an event.

Mitch first explored photography as a young man living in the hills of Northwestern Connecticut. He moved to Vermont in 1985, and his desire to shoot on a professional level grew. Mitch became increasingly inspired by the endless photographic opportunities offered by the Green Mountain State, and honed his style within the natural world and the great assortment of social events found throughout New England.

Mitch's images have been published in calendars, books, and newsprint, and he was a contributing editor for Vivid Light Magazine, an online photographic publication. An avid baseball fan, Mitch is also an assistant photographer for the Vermont Mountaineers of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, a collection of some of the nation's top collegiate baseball players.

In 2003, Mitch made the switch from analog to digital media, and has an extensive background in computer digital imaging. He lives in Barre, VT with his son Ryan and daughter Hannah.
